About Us

The founder of the chorale, Roger Alden Anderson, is a music director, composer, visual artist and educator. Mr. Anderson has a strong belief in community engagement. He started The Roger Anderson Chorale to use as a venue to speak with a strong and unified voice to increase recognition of singing together as an essential part of society, health-promoting activity, and a transformative experience. RAC’s primary goal when giving performances is Unity through Diversity.

Rehearsals for the chorale are Tuesday's from 7pm-9pm at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 890 Balour Dr., Encinitas. Rehearsals start the first Tuesday after Labor Day and go to the 2nd week in June. RAC gives 3 concert series with a total of 6 performances per year. Please visit our website for audition information. We are always looking for new singers!

As “Singing Ambassadors” in our community and broader San Diego County, RAC’s 24 choristers outreach through vocal excellence builds their audiences. RAC offers many learning tools to help singers vocally and to learn their parts. Look for audition notices in the Encinitas Weekly Newsletter. Rehearsals start in September on Tuesdays at 7pm at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church on Balour St., Encinitas
