1883 Schoolhouse
The Encinitas Historical Society is pleased to announce our next free guided Walking Tour of Historic Downtown Encinitas to be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021. The docent guided two-hour tour includes many points of historic interest such as the iconic boathouses, Cottonwood Creek, relocated historic buildings, and much more as we wind our way through downtown Encinitas.
We will also be hosting a book signing with author Rachel Brupbacher for her new book Miles Minor Kellogg and the Encinitas Boathouses between the hours of 10am – 4 pm.
Please join us at the historic one-room 1883 Schoolhouse located at 390 West F Street on Saturday, 7/17/21. Our Art & Crafts Fair opens at 9am and our walking tour begins at 10am. Bring your camera, walking shoes, and a desire to learn more about our historic downtown Encinitas. Dogs are welcome! Stay awhile, meet Rachel, enjoy our Arts & Crafts Fair and relax in our gardens. Donations are gratefully accepted for our all-volunteer organization.
