Description
The Government Affairs Meeting has been renamed the Civic Engagement Meeting, with a focus on regional and local issues impacting our community. It continues to serve as a platform for hearing from elected officials and fosters community involvement to influence policies and drive change.
This month's guest speaker is Assemblymember Tasha Boerner. She will provide a legislative update regarding her bill package for the 2025-26 session.
Tasha Boerner was first elected to the California State Assembly in November of 2018 and re-elected for her fourth term in November 2024. She represents the 77th District, encompassing Carlsbad, Encinitas, Solana Beach, Del Mar, and the coastal communities of La Jolla south to Coronado.
