About Us
New Mom School is a unique, research-based postnatal education and community program designed to support new mothers as they navigate the challenges of early motherhood. Our program is thoughtfully structured to provide the guidance, education, and support new moms need during the postpartum period.
What makes New Mom School special?
1. Birth-Date Based Classes: Moms are grouped with others whose babies were born around the same time, ensuring they connect with women going through the exact same experiences. Small class sizes (10-14 moms) allow for deep bonding and meaningful support.
2. Mom-Centric Curriculum: Our carefully selected topics address the real needs of postpartum moms, including physical recovery, mental and emotional well-being, bonding with baby, relationship dynamics, returning to work, and more.
3. Access to Local Experts: Each class series features guest professionals such as a pediatric sleep consultant, pelvic floor therapists, maternal mental health providers, and other specialists. These experts provide invaluable education and one-on-one support.
New Mom School bridges the gap in postpartum care, offering a welcoming, judgment-free space where moms can learn, share, and grow together. By collaborating with healthcare professionals, we aim to ensure every mother receives the resources and reassurance she deserves.
We can’t wait to welcome new moms in North County San Diego and make a lasting impact on their journey into motherhood!
