About Us

Encinitas Orthodontics is led by Dr. Skyler Liatti, DDS, MS, a board-certified orthodontic specialist (American Board of Orthodontics). He earned his dental degree and his master's in orthodontics at Loma Linda University and has led the practice since 2020. We care for families from Encinitas, Carlsbad, Oceanside, San Marcos, Cardiff, Solana Beach, Del Mar, Rancho Santa Fe and across North County San Diego.

Treatment for kids, teens and adults: braces, Invisalign and Invisalign Teen, early treatment for children, palatal expansion, and MARPE non-surgical expansion for adults, which Dr. Liatti places himself, right here in the office.

Your first visit is free for everyone, kids included. It includes a 3D CBCT scan of the teeth, jaws, joints and airway, an iTero digital scan, and a full clinical exam with Dr. Liatti, who sees every new patient himself. He explains what he sees and works with your child's physician on airway concerns. We're honest about what's needed. If it isn't time yet, your child joins the Grom Club, our free growth and development program. In most cases you'll leave knowing your exact fee, and same-day starts are available.

Most orthodontic insurance accepted, and we file the claims. HSA/FSA welcome, with 0% interest in-office payment plans. Invisalign is the same fee as braces.

In 2025, Encinitas Orthodontics was voted Gold for Orthodontist in The Coast News' Best of North County readers' poll. Dr. Liatti is also recognized as a Castle Connolly Top Dentist (2026).
