About Us
The North Coast Symphony Orchestra (NCSO) is a nonprofit community orchestra based in Encinitas. The NCSO was founded in Encinitas in 1947 and has been continuously operating for 75 years, positively impacting members and the community through symphonic music performances. The NCSO’s mission is to provide a live music-making and listening experience to inspire a love of orchestral and chamber music for the members of the orchestra and the communities that we serve. The orchestra performs five concerts yearly, including a summer pops, holiday concert, and two chamber music concerts.
